Darkfriend Socials

Since December 1993 the readers of rec.arts.sf.written.robert-jordan (and its parent group before it) have been gathering together for events called "Darkfriend Socials". These are opportunities for people who talk with each other online every day to meet in person. I've attended many Darkfriend Socials and I've often ended up being the scribe, a tradition that started at the first I attended) Here are written summaries of a few dozen I've been to, plus a few I haven't. The newest are listed first.

Other Sites with DFS Information

My page is far from a complete index of every social that has ever been. There used to be several sites with information about darkfriend socials ranging from Texas to Ohio to the UK, but alas Time and the Wheel have ground the web very finely, leaving few sites today. Lately I've only been able to find one site other than mine:
