So maybe it's trite, but I want to say thanks to everybody who helped make
Burt a reality. In no particular order:

friends and family for their patience listening to me yack yack yack about
this great new software that I'm writing

The entire labstaff of the Computer Systems Lab at the UW-Madison
for putting up with the early (only slightly) buggy
versions of Burt, and for their (seemingly neverending)
comments and suggestions about the system and how to
			make it better

The Computer Sciences Department at the UW-Madison
for being the first Burt testbed and graciously
employing me while I wrote Burt

Dean Jansa for laying the groundwork for Burt and providing
help and guidance with the later work

Dan Romike for writing DK, the primary inspiration for Burt

And of course, you, the person who has downloaded Burt. I hope it works as
well for you as it has for me.
